Due to the rapid growth of our school, we have a job opportunity for either a part-time (0,6 FTE) or a fulltime 1 FTE for a Deputy Director at Amstelland International School including line managerial responsibilities.
Start date: 1 August 2023/1 October 2023- 1 July 2024
Salary scale A11 (2765-5087 euros brutto, according to years of experience in this role) is in accordance with the Dutch primary school labor law (CAO)
About the AIS
The AIS is a Dutch International Primary and Secondary School (DIPS) situated in
Amstelveen. AIS is the international school department which forms part of a larger Dutch school group Onderwijsgroep Amstelland. Together we are a family of thirteen schools. The AIS is subsidised by the Dutch government, this enables us to deliver accessible high quality international education. At the AIS we teach the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).

• Excellent knowledge and experience of designing academic & creative school schedules
• The ability and initiative to contribute towards creating and implementing school policy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to function well within a team

• Ability to lead, coach and professionally review a team of educators
• A valid and relevant Primary school teaching qualification i.e. Duo certified, QTS, PGCE

Werken bij Onderwijsgroep Amstelland
Onze onderwijsgroep bestaat uit twaalf scholen voor bijzonder onderwijs waaronder een International school in Amstelveen en Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. De scholen hebben elk hun eigen karakter, maar delen dezelfde kernwaarden: Vertrouwen, Verbondenheid, Ontmoeten, Gedrevenheid en Aandacht. We hebben oog voor iedere leerling en willen de leerling méér brengen dan kennis alleen. Dat is voor ons: onderwijs met een hart. Deel jij deze visie? Dan maken we graag kennis!

Binnen de verschillende scholen is er altijd wel een school te vinden die qua werksfeer en cultuur bij een medewerker past. Onderwijsgroep Amstelland blijft op zoek naar nieuwe collega's met een (bijna) afgeronde PABO opleiding. Ook voor tijdelijk werk is het interessant om nader kennis te maken met een van de scholen.We hebben onze eigen AmstelAcademie, is er ruimte voor eigen inbreng en we waarderen diversiteit. Nieuwe medewerkers binnen de scholen mogen rekenen op goede introductie en begeleiding (o.a. video interactie begeleiding) gedurende de beginperiode. In een gezamenlijk plan worden de afspraken vastgelegd om de nieuwe medewerker zich zo snel thuis te voelen in de nieuwe werkkring.
